Topic :
Recent Developments and Applications in Simulation
Abstract
Today simulation is one of the most powerful modeling and analysis tools to solve the complex problems associated with design and operation of manufacturing and service systems. Over the past two decades, simulation applications have increased to the extent that simulation technology has become a commonplace standard methodology in industry.
The purpose of this talk is to review recent developments and applications of simulation. Specifically, we discuss the basic trends in simulation model developments, input data analysis, output data analysis, and optimization. In addition, we will give tips for successful simulation applications in industry.  Future research directions will also be addressed in this talk.
